Women's Soccer Welcomes Eleven to 2025-26 Recruiting Class
(Howell, MI)-- Cleary head women's soccer coach Steve Horn has announced the team's recruiting class ahead of the 2025 fall season.
Coach Horn comments on Class of ’25:
We are really excited about the incoming class we have joining us for the fall. They are all high-level athletes who fit well into our playing style and have proven track records of success at all levels of the game. It is a group of high-character individuals who will fit in perfectly with our team, and we can't wait for them to get on campus and get to work this fall.
Kaylee Backers | Goalkeeper | Richmond, MI | Richmond High School
Horn on Kaylee: Kaylee is a quality goalkeeper who brings a tenacity with her when in goal. She is fearless coming out and has great reactions. We are happy to add her to the Cleary family.
Kaylee on why Cleary: I chose Cleary because of how welcoming, encouraging and positive the team was when I came to training. So, I knew I wanted to be a part of this team and around that positive environment.
Addison Borowy | Midfielder | Fowlerville, MI | Fowlerville High School
Horn on Addison: Addie is a very talented midfielder who can score goals and set her teammates up. She’s a very technical player who’s extremely competitive and wants to win every time she steps on the field. Very excited to add her to the team.
Addie on why Cleary: I chose Cleary because of the close-knit relationship the girls as well as coach Steve collectively created; making me wanting to play here a very easy decision. I can’t wait to see what type of adventures these next four years bring!
Emily Krampitz | Winger | Grand Rapids, MI | Grand Rapids Community College
Horn on Emily: Emily is a dynamic winger who loves to run at defenders. She has an incredible work rate on the field and uses that to create havoc on both sides of the game. She is a great addition to the team and excited to have her as a part of the family.
Emily on why Cleary: I chose Cleary because I was drawn to the supportive, all in, family-like culture that the team has intentionally cultivated. I was warmly welcomed by Coach Steve and the girls from day one, and admired the high level of work ethic and passion for the sport. I knew very quickly that this was a team I would be proud to be apart of, and I couldn’t be more excited!
Audra Krueger | Goalkeeper | Vicksburg, MI | Vicksburg High School
Horn on Audra: Audra is a very technical goalkeeper. She’s good with the ball at her feet, makes all the saves, and distributes well. The best thing about her is how competitive she is. She will be a great addition to the team this fall.
Audra on why Cleary: I chose Cleary because of the way the team is with each other. When I was invited to train with the team for the first time it felt like one big family. They all worked for each other in practice and wanted everyone to do well. Talking with Coach Steve made me feel very welcome and treated me like I was already a part of the team. The team made me feel like a team that I want to be a part of.
Harper Munson | Forward | West Branch, MI | Ogemaw Heights High School
Horn on Harper: Harper is an exciting attacking player who finds ways to score goals. She has a great approach to the game and brings a competitive edge to the field. Very excited to have her as a part of the Cougar family.
Harper on why Cleary: I chose Cleary because of the small school atmosphere and tight knit community. I wanted a place where I felt supported and pushed in my soccer career, after speaking with coach Steve I felt that the program he built here at Cleary met all my goals of striving to be better and working hard while having a family of teammates and staff behind me.

Horn on Jessica: Jess is a tenacious defender with an incredible work rate. She sacrifices her body to block shots and has a composure about her when she has the ball at her feet. She is a great addition to the family and excited to have her here this fall.

From the beginning, when I started talking to Coach Steve, he made me feel welcome, and all the girls brought me into everything like I was already part of it. The team is hardworking and passionate about what they do, and I knew it was something I needed to be a part of.
Karliana Perdomo | Defender | Portuguesa, Venezuela | St. Clair County Community College
Horn on Karliana: Karliana is a skilled player who brings a lot of passion to the game when she plays. She loves being on the field and has great determination in her game. I’m excited to add her to the team this fall.
Karli on why Cleary: I chose Cleary because it offered a unique balance between academics and athletics. From the moment I visited, I felt a sense of community and support that made it clear this was the right place for me to succeed and feel at home.
Lucia Reinke | Winger | Farmington Hills, MI | Eastern Michigan University
Horn on Lucy: Lucy is a highly competitive player. In training, she’s shown an incredible ability to score goals, and we will look for her to add a few tallies to her name this fall. She is a great addition to the team and happy to have her here.
Lucy on why Cleary: I chose Cleary because the team culture and coaching staff made me feel welcome and challenged, and I knew it was the right fit on and off the field. The strong academic opportunities allow me to grow as both a student and an athlete.
Erin Sherwood | Forward | Portsmouth, England | Portsmouth
Horn on Erin: Erin is a gifted attacking player who can score goals in a variety of ways and is a fiery competitor. She’s played and had success at a very high level overseas and will bring that experience to us this fall. Happy to welcome her to the Cougar family.
Erin on why Cleary: I chose Cleary because after lots of research and meetings as this is the perfect fit for me. As an international student there was so much to consider, but I decided to go with Cleary as I want to be part of a team that continues to progress in the NAIA and Coach Steve’s aspirations are in line with what I want to be part of. It is clear the team work together, support each other and this is somewhere I feel I can continue to develop and be part of an amazing team.
Agnes Thora Snorradottir| Defender | Isafjordur, Iceland | High school of Isafjordur
Horn on Agnes: Agnes brings a terrific combination of power and skill to our backline. She’s a savvy defender who reads the game extremely well and delivers incredible service into the box. She will be a great addition to the team this fall.
Agnes on why Cleary: I chose Cleary because of the high values and culture that exists within the team, which is very important to me. Coach Steve has made me feel very welcome and I am very excited to meet the girls and become part of the team this August!
Chelsea Waller | Forward | Macomb, MI | Great Lakes Christian College
Horn on Chelsea: Chelsea is a proven goal scorer at the collegiate level and an incredible individual. Having played for a national championship, she brings a winning mentality along with her ability to lift teams up with her play as she brings players into the game and is a great finisher. Very happy she will join the family this fall.
Chelsea on why Cleary: I chose Cleary because of the community. Everyone was so welcoming when I first met with the team, and I knew then that this was the place for me. It truly feels like home.
Cleary opens their season on Saturday, August 23, when they travel to Fort Wayne to take on Saint Francis.
