Women's Lacrosse Falls in Season Finale
(Southfield, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar women's lacrosse team saw their regular season come to an end on the road, as the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils were able to come out on top with a 18-6 victory.
Cleary's Isabel Carr was able to get Cleary on the board first, but LTU would score the next 4 goals in the game, before Jordan Bloch stopped the bleeding. LTU would add 5 unasnswered goals before Isabel Carr was able to find the back of the net for her second goal of the game.
The second half was all Blue Devils, as they scored the first 7 goals of half action. Cleary was able to score 3/4 goals, with goals from Jordan Bloch and Sydney Dickerson.
Jordan Bloch led the way for Cleary with 3 goals, and Isabel Carr added 2 goals and an assist. Sydney Dickerson posted 1 goal and 2 assists for the Cougars. Anna Clark made 7 saves in between the pipes for Cleary.
Cleary finishes the season at 1-5 overall, and 1-5 in WHAC-tion.
