WHAC Coaches Award Women's Golf With Highest Ever Preseason Ranking

(Howell, MI)-- The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has released it's 2025-26 Women's Golf Preseason Coaches Poll, and Cleary has been picked to finish in 3rd place.  

Defending champion Lawrence Tech earned all twelve first place votes to earn 144 preseason points for a first place projected finish.  UNOH, who had won the WHAC from 2017-2024, earned 125 points and was picked to finish in second place.  Cleary garnered 1 second place vote and 7 third place votes to earn 113 points, with a third place projected finish.  The third place projected finish for Cleary is the highest preseason ranking in program history.  Indiana Tech and Siena Heights round out the top five.

The Cougars open up the new season on Friday, September 5, and Saturday, September 6, when they play in the Kyle Campbell Memorial Tournament, hosted by The University of Olivet.
