Cougars Cap Season with Third-Place Finish at WHAC Championships
(Augusta, MI) -- The Cleary Cougar Women's Golf team participated in their last tournament of the season today at the WHAC Championships. They played 54 holes over the course of two days and would finish in 3rd place as a team with a stroke score of 981. Lawrence Tech finished first with a stroke score of 939.

Jessica Shay led the way for the Cougars and finished tied for 8th overall with round scores of 82, 80, and 78.

Jana L'Esperance would shoot 79, 85, and 80 to take home 12th place.

Alexis Sharplin tied for 13th place with round scores of 80, 80, and 85.

Lauryn Jerke finished with round scores of 85, 84, and 83, tying for 21st overall.

Madeline Swett played in rounds one and three, shooting a 92 and 89.

Maryann Montgomery played in round two and shot a 97.
The Women's Golf team is all wrapped up with their 2024-2025 season. Between the Fall and Spring seasons, they would finish in 1st place as a team in 3 tournaments.
