(Ottawa Lake, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar Women's Golf team continued their fall season today with a trip to The Legacy Golf Club to take on the Lourdes Gray Wolf Invitational. The team came in 2nd place out of 13 teams with a team score of +60. Siena Heights University A team sneaked past the Cougars, finishing just 6 shots better to claim 1st place. 

  • Jana L'Esperance would lead the Cougars as she finished with a score of +10 to claim 5th place overall. 

  • Madeline Swett would finish tied for 12th overall after shooting a +15. 

  • Alexis Sharplin posted a round score of +17 to tie for 15th place overall. 

  • Lauryn Jerke would tie for 20th overall with a score of +18.

  • Jessica Shay finished with a score of +25 to tie for 35th overall.

The Women's Golf team will get a few days off before taking on the WHAC Fall Preview, a two-day tournament that starts on Monday, September 23, 2024, at Stonehenge Golf Club in Augusta, Michigan. Tee time is still TBA.
