Women's Golf Starts Spring Season With 4th Place Finish
(Ottawa Lake, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar Women's Golf team played their first tournament of the spring season today. They traveled down to The Legacy Golf Club for the Lourdes Spring Invitational and came in 4th place as a team with a team score of 334.

Lauryn Jerke would finish strong for the Cougars as she tied for 6th place overall after posting a score of 80.

Kelsey Elliott would tie for 15th overall after posting a score of 83.

Jana L'Esperance tied for 19th overall, shooting an 85.

Alexis Sharplin would finish her round with an 86, putting her 21st overall.

Emma Smith was entered as an individual for this event would go on to shoot her personal best score shooting an 87 which put her 22nd overall.
The women look to hit the links this Saturday, April 13th when they travel down to Tecumseh, Michigan for the Adrian College Spring Tournament at Tecumseh Golf Course. Tee-off time is set for 2:00 PM.
