Women's Golf Bounces Back to Finish 4th at Concordia University Cardinal Classic
(Ypsilanti, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar women's golf team traveled to Ypsilanti, MI this week to take on the two-day Concordia University Cardinal Classic. The girls would play three rounds over the two days for a total of 54 holes.

Lauryn Jerke led the Cougars finishing in 6th place overall, posting her best score of 80 in the third round.

Jana L'Esperance would finish in 11th place, posting her collegiate best rounds this weekend with scores of 88, 85, and 87.

Alexis Sharplin would post her best score in the second round shooting an 87, finishing her in 22nd place.

Kelsey Elliott finished in 30th after posting a final score of 285 over the two days.

Madeline Swett would finish in 32nd, her best round coming in her final round shooting a 91.
Cleary would finish 5th out of 8 teams on day one but would bounce back to finish 4th on day 2 having a final team score of 1066 over the two days. The Cougars will be back out on the course when they host their first tournament of the year, the Cleary University Fall Invitational on September 29th.
