Women's Golf Beats WHAC Rival UM-Dearborn in Dual Match

(Milford, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar women's golf team traveled to Milford, MI today to take on UM-Dearborn at Mystic Creek Golf Course for a dual match today. Both teams took on the challenging course with a lot of water hazards. 

• Madeline Swett would lead the Cougars shooting 90, 4 strokes behind the leader of the day from UM-Dearborn. 

• Alexis Sharplin would shoot a 94 on the day.

• Lauryn Jerke would finish her day with a 99. 

• Kelsey Elliott would post a score of 100

• Emma Smith was entered as an individual for the day, posting a score of 101. 

Cleary would finish above their WHAC rival UM-Dearborn taking the match 381 - 406. Women's Golf will be back on the greens when they travel to Ypsilanti, MI for the Concordia University Cardinal Classic, a two-day tournament set to start on September 19.
