Women's Golf Opens Season at Trine Invitational
(Angola, IN)-- The Cleary Cougar women's golf team opened up their season at the Trine University Invitational, bearing the elements of a rain delay at Zollner Golf Course Tuesday afternoon.

Alexis Sharplin shot 88 to tie for 22nd place.

Jana L'Esperance was entered as an individual golfer and shot a 91 to finish in 31st place.

Kelsey Elliott shot 92 to finish in a tie for 32nd place.

Lauryn Jerke finished tied for 45th place shooting a 96.

Maryann Montgomery shot a 97 to finish tied for 47th.
Cleary would finish as a team in 10th place out of 16 total teams. Cleary would be just shy of 9th place as Lourdes A would finish the round 3 strokes better than Cleary. The Cougar's next outing will be September 7 as they travel to Legacy Golf Course for the Lourdes Fall Tournament.
