Cross Country Wraps Up Fall Season at WHAC Championships

(Adrian, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar men's and women's cross country teams were in action for the final time this fall, as they competed in the WHAC Championship at Heritage Park in Adrian, Michigan.
In the Men's 8K Meet:
- Hunter Anderson would lead the Cougars with a time of 29:01.60, and finished in 79th place
- Running a 29:28.90 was Preston Mackenzie, who finished in 88th place
- Ben Iobe would finish in 93rd, with a time of 29:57.90
- Running a 31:30.00 was Jameson Watson, who finished in 109th
- Finishing in 115th was Noah Blondke, who ran a 32:20.40
- Devin Mackenzie would finish in 120th with a time of 34:33.30
- Logan Betke would round out the Cougar runners, with a time of 36:30.30, and finished in 122nd
As a team, Cleary would finish in 10th place.
In the Women's 6K Meet:
- Maryann Pennington led the way with a time of 27:30.30 to finish in 68th place
- Earning an 81st place finish was Rylie Bjorkman, who ran a 28:31.90
- Rounding out the scores was Kiera Smith, who ran a 31:08.40, and finished in 88th place
Cleary did not have a team score in the meet.
