Cougar XC Runs at NAIA Great Lakes Challenge

(Grand Rapids, MI)— The men's and women's cross country teams ran in the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge hosted by Aquinas College. There were four races this weekend, 2 for the men's teams and 2 for the women's teams. Both Cleary teams ran in the White Race.
In the women's race:
- Lauren Gores finished in 30th place for the Cougars today with a season PR 5k time of 20:11.90. She was the only cougar to run in the women's race, resulting in no team score.
In the men's race:
- Leading the men's team with an 8k time—and season PR—of 26:49.30 was Donovan White finishing 17th overall in the men's race.
- Finishing next for the Cougars was Ethan Beres with a 43rd place finish and a time of 27:23.10.
- Joel Hartleb also had a season PR today with a time of 29:07.20.
- Alex Misniakiewicz would follow Hartleb with a time of 33:56.40.
- Next was Stephen Bisard with a 34:36.60 finish time.
- Logan Betke wrapped it up for the Cougars with a time of 37:23.80.
The men's team finished 23rd overall with a team time of 2:31:52.50.
