Bio
A five-time Fargo National Champion, Whitford established himself as one of the premier youth wrestlers in the nation before capturing four Michigan high school state titles. Following his prep career, Whitford competed internationally at the senior level in freestyle wrestling, winning the 2019 Cerro Pelado International and placing third at the 2019 Dave Schultz Memorial International.
Whitford has served as a coach at MI-REV Wrestling Club in Highland, Michigan, where he has mentored numerous national qualifiers and All-Americans. His technical expertise in both folkstyle and freestyle wrestling, combined with his international competitive experience, provides Cleary student-athletes with high-level instruction and competition preparation.
Known for his meticulous attention to technique and his ability to develop wrestlers across all skill levels, Whitford brings a championship pedigree and a commitment to excellence that will be instrumental in building our program.
