Wrestling Drops Season Opener at Lourdes

(Sylvania, OH)-- The Cleary Cougars wrestling team opened up the 2022-23 season with a conference dual at Lourdes on Tuesday night.
- In 133 lb. division, Ryan Weaver was pinned at 3:52 to drop his match
- Anthony Wilson was pinned in the 141 lb. division at 1:23
- David Emch dropped his match by pin in the 174 lb. division after 2:18
- Johnathan Keers lost in the heavyweight match by a 2-1 decision
As a team, Lourdes won the match 51-0 over Cleary. The Cougars will be back in action this weekend when they participate in the Trine Open in Angola, Indiana.
