Cleary Earns Dual Victory Over SC4 Behind 5 Pins
(Port Huron, MI)-- The dual meet between Cleary wrestling and the St. Clair County Community College (SC4) Skippers started about as well as you could ask for the Cougars, as they earned the maximum 6 points for the team in 5 of the first 7 matches, going on to win by a score of 33-22 Wednesday evening in Port Huron.
Jordan Piercy got things going with a pin after 6:13 of action to earn the first 6 points for Cleary. Logan Ladach won by a decision of 10-5 to earn 3 points. Thomas Lear, Zander Bradsher, Hunter Kasey, and David Emch all would get pins as well, with Lear's coming only 28 seconds into his match to give Cleary the 33 points they would need to earn the victory.
Also wrestling on the day were:
Jace Ellis, who lost by a major decision 10-1.
Jacob Spiess, who was pinned.
Cleary will be back in action this Saturday, November 20, when they particpate in the Albion Open
