Indoor Track & Field Runs at Hillsdale Wide Track Classic

(Hillsdale, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar men's and women's indoor track & field teams hit the road to southern Michigan, and participated in the Hillsdale Wide Track Classic on the campus of Hillsdale College.
In the Men's Meet:
- Christian Hammond and Matt Booth took 17th and 21st in the 60 m, with times of 7.66 and 8.04 respectively
- Hammond and Booth would take 13th and 19th in the 200m, with Hammond running a 24.88 and Booth running a 25.93
- Camden Staples would finish in 16th in the 400m after running a 57.31
- Donovan White would take 12th in the 800m after running a 2:08.79
- White would also earn a 3rd place finish in the mile to earn Cleary 6 points when he ran a 4:42.54
- The 4x400 relay team of Donovan White, Matthew Booth, Camden Staples, and Christian Hammond would finish in 9th place with a time of 3:51.32
- Finishing in 12th and 13th in the shot put were Logan Rogers and Jerome Ellis. Rogers threw 36'0.25", while Ellis threw 35'10.75"
- Rogers would also throw 34'5.75" in the weight throw to take 12th place
As a team, Cleary finished in 6th place with 6 points earned
In the Women's Meet:
- Kaylie Bash finished in 13th in the 60m with a time of 8.64
- Bash would also run a 29.63 in the 200m to finish in 14th
- Jillian Clark would run a 3:17.68 in the 800m to finish in 15th
- Lauren Gores would finish in 3rd place in the 3000m with a time of 10:55.95, earning Cleary 6 points
- Kaylie Bash would finish in 10th place in the 60m hurdles with a time of 10.45
- Carlee Beeney threw a 31'4.5" shot put to finish in 10th place. Amelia Jason finished in 19th
As a team, Cleary finished in 6th place with 6 points earned. The Cougars will be back in action next Friday, February 2, when they run in the Mrs. G Invitational at Trine University in Angola, Indiana.
