Men's and Women's Track Take on Calvin Invitational

(Grand Rapids, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field teams would travel to Grand Rapids to compete in the Calvin University Invitational.

In the Men's Meet:

In the 400M, Jameson Watson would finish with a time of 55.44 for 13th place. 

In the 800M, Logan Betke placed 50th with a time of 2:53.82.

In the 1500M, Hunter Anderson would place 60th with a time of 4:41.29. And Jose Domecq would follow in 67th place with a time of 4:48.88.

In the 5000M, Ben Iobe would place 10th with a time of 17:14.71. And Noah Blondke would follow in 11th place with a time of 17:15.32.

In the Shot Put, Robert Karageorge would place 21st with a distance of 9.21m.

In Discus, Logan Rogers would place 13th with a distance of 33.95m. Robert Karageorge would follow in 14th place with a distance of 33.38. And Derrick Murray would place 18th with a distance of 31.14m.

In Javelin, Rodrick Campbell placed 9th with a distance of 40.40m. And Luke St. Ledger finished with a distance of 29.04m for an 18th place result.

In the Hammer Throw, Logan Rogers would place 6th with a distance of 37.50m.

In the Mixed 4x400, Cleary as a team would place 7th with a time of 4:01.34.

In the Women's Meet:

In the 800M, Rylie Bjorkman would finish with a time of 2:47.01 for 35th place. And Kiera Smith would place 46th with a time of 3:15.28. 

In the 400M Hurdles, Samantha Hoelscher would finish with a time of 1:05.59 for a 2nd place result.

In the Shot Put, Lily Daugard would place 4th with a distance of 11.57m.

In Javelin, Amelia Jason would end with a distance of 20.14m for a 12th place result. 

In the Hammer Throw, Lily Daugard would have a distance of 30.43m for a 17th place result.

The Men's and Women's Track Teams will be back in action on April 23rd as they travel to Adrian at Siena Heights University for a 2-day event of the Don Kleinow Memorial Invitational.
