Track and Field Battles at AQ WHAC vs. MIAA Challenge
(Grand Rapids, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Teams were in Grand Rapids Friday afternoon as they competed in the Aquinas WHAC vs. MIAA Challenge at the Alksnis Athletics & Recreation Building.
In the Men's Meet:
In the 60M, Rodrick Campbell would finish with a time of 7.73 to finish in 25th place. Jameson Watson would finish in 26th place with a time of 7.79.
In 200M, Brayden Jones would end with a result of 15th place with a time of 24.25. Jacob Chouinard would finish with a time of 25.02 for 20th place.
In the 800M, Ben Iobe would place 8th with a time of 2:16.89. Noah Blondke would end with a time of 2:18.96 for 11th place. Hunter Anderson would follow behind in 12th place with a time of 2:19.07. Preston Mackenzie would result in a time of 2:24.25 for a 15th place finish. And Logan Betke would finish for 18th place with a time of 2:41.17.
In the 1 Mile, Noah Blondke would finish in 9th place with a time of 4:58.81. And Hunter Anderson would place 14th with a time of 5:04.76.
In the Shot Put, Ryan Kincaid would place 5th with a throw of 13.38m. Robert Karageorge would have a result of 20th place with a throw of 11.54m. And Derrick Murray would have a throw result of 9.93m for a 36th-place finish.
In the Long Jump, Rodrick Campbell would place 16th with a distance of 5.82m.
In the Weight Throw, Ryan Kincaid would place 30th for a throw of 10.50m. And Robert Karageorge would place 32nd for a throw of 10.08m.
In the Women's Meet:
In the 200M, Adisyn Pierce finished with a time of 29.86 to place 15th.
In the 800M, Rylie Bjorkman would finish with a time of 2:49.52 for a 4th place result. Adisyn Pierce would place 8th with a time of 3:03.48. And Kiera Smith would follow behind with a result of 9th place with a time of 3:19.00.
In the Shot Put, Lily Daugard would place 5th with a throw of 11.52m.
In the Weight Throw, Lily Daugard would throw for 14.26m for a 2nd-place finish.
The Cougars will be back in action on February 20 and 21st as they head to the WHAC Indoor Track & Field Championships. This event will take place back at the Alksnis Athletics & Recreation Building in Grand Rapids.
