Men's and Women's Indoor Track Competes at Hillsdale Wide Track Classic

(Hillsdale, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field teams were back in action this Friday, as they competed in the Hillsdale Wide Track Classic on the campus of Hillsdale College at the Margot V. Biermann Athletic Center.

In the Men's Meet:

• For the Long Jump,  Jacob Chouinard placed 16th with a jump of 5.75m. Rodrick Campbell also placed 21st with a result of 5.47m

• For the 60M, Brayden Jones placed 16th with a time of 7.17. Jacob Chouinard has a result of 7.65 finishing in 42nd. Rodrick Campbell placed 45th with a result of 7.66.

• In the 400M, Jameson Watson placed 22nd with a result of 56.82. Preston Mackenzie ended with the result 57.32 for 25th place. And Armani Spaulding finished in 29th place with a result of 1:00.47.

• In the 5000M, Hunter Anderson ended in 10th place with a time of 17:42.31. Noah Blondke finished in 11th place with a time of 17:47.47. And Ben Iobe finished with a time of 18:01.70 resulting in 13th place.

• In the 200M, Brayden Jones would finish in 37th place with a time of 24.69. And Jameson Watson would finish in 51st place with a time of 26.25.

• In the 800M, Preston Mackenzie would finish in a time of 2:34.47 for 46th place. Logan Betke placed 47th place with a time of 2:45.73.

• For the Shot Put, Ryan Kincaid would place 3rd with the throw result of 13.79m. Robert Karageorge finished in 25th place with a result of 11.25m. Derrick Murray would have a throw result of 10.17m to finish in 35th place.

• In the High Jump, Jameson Watson would 15th with a result of 1.63m.

• In the Weight Throw, Robert Karageorge would place 38th with a result of 9.01m. Logan Rogers and Derrick Murray would also compete in Weight Throw, but ended with fouls.

In the Women's Meet:

• In the 400M, Adisyn Pierce would end with a result of 1:08.66 for 16th place. Rylie Bjorkman would place 18th with the result of 1:13.56. And Kiera Smith had finished in 21st with a time of 1:24.56.

• In the 800M, Adisyn Pierce would finish with a time of 3:10.07 and place 21st. Kiera Smith would finish in 25th place with a time of 3:28.87. 

• In the Open Weight Throw, Lily Daugard would place 2nd with a result of 14.12m. 

• In the Invite Shot Put, Lily Daugard would finish with the result of 10.97m to place 8th.

The Men's and Women's Indoor Track team will be back in action on January 30th at the GR Sports Hall of Fame Classic in Grand Rapids, MI.
