May 21, 2025
(Marion, IN)-- Cleary outdoor track and field student-athletes Noah Simpson and Samantha Hoelscher were in action Wednesday, as they competed in the NAIA Championship meet on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan University.
- Noah Simpson had qualified for Nationals in javelin, and earned a 16th place finish. He had throws of 56.42 M, 55.95 M, and 56.48 M. He was 1.8 M short of 8th place, and All-America status.
- Samantha Hoelscher had qualified for Nationals in 400 M Hurdles, and earned a 19th place finish in the preliminaries, with a time of 1:04.11. She fell just short of qualifying for the event's finals, which will be held on Friday, May 23. She was 1.74 seconds off the finals qualifying pace
Both of these student-athletes represented Cleary extremely well, and will hopefully be able to return to the NAIA National Meet next year.
