Track and Field Has Multiple Placers at Bill Bippes Cougar Classic

(Spring Arbor, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar men's and women's outdoor track & field teams were in action Saturday, as they competed in the Bill Bippes Cougar Classic, hosted by Spring Arbor University.

In the Men's Meet:

Jacob Chouinard rana 12.16 in the 100 M to finish in 23rd. Rodrick Campbell ran a 12.39 to finish in 24th, while Matt Booth ran a 12.44 to finish in 26th, and Dylan Tammadge ran a 12.81 to finish in 29th
Dylan Tammadge would finish in 23rd in the 200 M after running a 25.54. Luke St. Ledger ran a 325.88 to finish in 24th
In the 400 M, Donovan White ran a 58.75 to finish in 17th. Nathan Vaske ran a 1:00.60 to finish in 18th
Donovan White finished in 17th in the 800 M after running a 2:05.15. Camden Staples, Preston Mackenzie, Mason Wildie all finished 25-27th, respecitvely
In the 1500 M, Joel Hartleb finished in 12th with a time of 4:41.14. Devin Mackenzie ran a 4:54.32 to finish in 18th, and Logan Betke ran a 5:19.01
Hunter Anderson finished in 17th in the 5000 M with a time of 17:21.63
In the 110 M hurdles, Luke St. Ledger ran a 17.89 to finish in 8th place
The 4 x 400 M Relay team of Donovan White, Jacob Chouinard, Preston Mackenzie, and Camden Staples ran a 3:45.26 to finish in 5th place
The 4 x 800 M Relay team of Donovan White, Mason Wildie, Preston Mackenzie, and Camden Staples ran a time of 8:42.49 to finish in 3rd place
Ryan Kincaid threw the Shot Put 12.09 M to finish in 11th. Tyree Jones threw 10.88 M to finish in 10th
Noah Simpson won the Discus with a throw of 43.35 M. Tyree Jones thew 36.87 M, while Derrick Murray threw 34.15 M
In the Javelin, Noah Simpson won with a throw of 56.09 M. Rodrick Campbell finished in 12th with a throw of 35.66 M, and Hunter Blackhurst threw 24.53 M to finish in 16th
Jacob Chouinard jumped 5.96 M in the Long Jump to finish in 4th place. Rodrick Campbell jumped 5.79 M to finish in 6th
Noah Simpson would earn a 12th place finish in the Hammer Throw with a distance of 40.51 M. Logan Rogers threw 34.25 M to finish in 19th. Ryan Kincaid, Jacob Haley, and Hunter Blackhurst finished in 23rd, 25th, and 28th, respectively

In the Women's Meet:

Samantha Hoelscher earned a 4th place finish in the 400 M, with a time of 1:00.78. Teammate Rylie Bjorkman ran a 1:11 to finish in 17th
In the 800 M, Lauren Gores finished in 12th place after running a 2:38.86. Rylie Bjorkman and Kiera Smith ifnished in 18th and 24th, respectively
Lauren Gores would earn a 2nd place finish in the 1500 M after running a 5:02.32
Earning a 2nd place finish in the 400 M Hurdles was Samantha Hoelscher, who ran a 1:04.47
Carlee Beeney won the Discus with a throw of 38.36 M. Amelia Jason threw 25.93 to finish in 18th
Amelia Jason threw the Javelin 22.63 M to finish in 10th place
In the Long Jump, Samantha Hoelscher jumped 4.69 M to finish in 6th place
Carlee Beeney would claim 10th place in the Hammer Throw, with a distance of 36.64 M. Amelia Jason threw 25.84 M to finish in 19th
