(Howell, MI): The Cleary University Men's Soccer team played a man down for the full 90 after having to serve a suspension from last week's Siena Heights game, and lost to the visiting University of Michigan Dearborn Wolverines 3-1 at Lake Trust Stadium Saturday evening. Cleary would get be on their front foot first, as they had possession and opportunities in the opening minutes. It would be the Cougars breaking through first as Benjamin Delage put one in the back of the net on a header near the top of the box with a beutiful assist from Dillon Splude to go over the defense. It was Delage's first goal of the season.

The score would remain 2-1 for the rest of the half.
The second half was less eventful, and most of the play was back and forth between the boxes, but a Cleary turnover would free up the Wolverines on 3 passes to set up an Xavier Walser goal in the 56th minute. Cleary would try to push forward after the 3rd goal, but couldn't connect on the passes in the final 3rd to create any chances, and Dearborn was content maintaining possession of the ball to run out the clock to secure the victory.
