Cougars Take Home Hardware After 1st Place Finish

(Sylvania, OH)-- The Cleary Cougar Men's golf team traveled to Sylvania Country Club today to take on the Lourdes Gray Wolves Fall Classic. The men were able to take home some hardware as they finished 1st overall as a team, with a score of 308, just three strokes ahead of the 2nd place finisher, Lourdes University. 

• Cameron Thomas would lead the Cougars finishing at +2, to place him 2nd overall. 

• Basile Malempre and Dylan Sokol followed their teammate finishing 3rd overall with scores of 77. 

• James Armbrust tied for 8th after finishing with a score of 80.

• Johnny Fackler and Kaden Patterson (Individual) would both tie for 17th overall with scores of 85. 

• Sam Robertson was entered as an individual and finished with a score of 87 to tie him for 20th overall. 

The men will return to the course on October 16th for their last tournament of the fall when they host the Cleary Cougar Fall Classic at Oak Pointe Country Club in Brighton, MI.
