Men's Golf ties for 7th at Ken Venturi Invitational
(Angola, IN)-- The Cleary Cougar men's golf team traveled to Zollner Golf Course in Angola, IN to take on their second tournament of the year today, facing many NCAA Division III schools.

Basile Malempre would lead the Cougars tying for 12th overall and shooting a 72.

Johnny Fackler and Cameron Thomas would end their days tied for 37th after shooting a 76.

Dylan Sokol would shoot a 77 to tie him for 46th place.

James Armbrust would tie for 65th after finishing his round with an 80.
Cleary would finish as a team tied for 7th place with Adrian College. The Cougars would finish just 1 shot back to tie for 5th place with Grace College and Ohio Northern A. The men's golf team will return on September 18, 2023, as they travel to Ypsilanti, MI for the Concordia University Cardinal Classic.
