Men's Golf Has Two Shoot in 70s at Lourdes Invite

(Ottawa Lake, MI)-- The Cleary Cougar men's golf team opened up their spring 2023 schedule by playing in the Lourdes Spring Invitational, hosted at The Legacy Golf Course in Ottawa Lake, Michigan.
- Cam Thomas led the Cougars, shooting a 76 (+4) to finish in a tie for 15th, just two strokes behind the winner.
- Dylan Sokol finished in a tie for 24th after shooting 78 (+6).
- Conner Stiles would shoot a (+10) 82 to finish in a tie for 42nd.
- Justin Reddy posted an 83 (+11) to tie for 48th. Reddy was entered as an individual for the tournament.
- Basile Malempre tied for 55th after shooting an 84 (+12).
- Logan Smith and Richard Platt rounded out the Cougar scores, with rounds of 85 and 89 respectively.
As a team, the Cougars finished in 9th place out of 13 teams. The golfers will be back in action on Monday, April 10, when they travel to West Michigan to play in the Aquinas Spring Invitational hosted at Kaufman Golf Club. The action gets underway at 10:00 AM.
