WHAC Announces Bowling Awards; Cougars Shine in Champions of Character

(Howell, MI)-- The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced it's 2025-26 season awards, and multiple men's and women's bowlers have been recognized.

Being recognized as Cleary's representatives on the Champions of Character team were Hunter Blackhurst and Brianna Swickard for best representing the five core character values of the NAIA.

Also recognized were head coach Hayley Dann and assistant coach Anthony Dann.  Coach Hayley Dann was named the men's bowling Champion of Character Coach for the third straight season.  Coach Anthony Dann was named the women's bowling Champion of Character Coach.

Also recognized were student-athletes who were named to the All-Academic Team.  To be honored, student-athletes must have had at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA and have attended Cleary for at least one full year.  They were (in alphabetical order):
