Bowling Competes at Tier One Hoosier Classic in Final Tuneup Before WHAC Championships

(Indianapolis, IN)-- The Cleary Cougar men's and women's bowling teams were in Indianapolis this past weekend, as they competed in the two-day Hoosier Classic.
In the Men's Meet:
- Leading the way was Howie Hammond, who had scores of 204-205-170-270-136 to total 985 pins,
- Ryan Ching would bowl four games, with scores of 236-181-171-230
- Finishing in 267th was Ethan Parker, who had games of 204-183-201-178
- Bowling games of 131-190-198-164 was Bryce Owens, who finished in 302nd
As a team, Cleary would knock down 7,252 pins, and finished in 48th place
In the Women's Meet:
- Courtney Witten would lead the Cougars with a 136th place individual finish. She had games of 212-152-182-156-181 to total 883 pins
- Bowling games of 171-146-169-187-169 was Brianna Swickard, who finished in 157th
- Finishing in 167th was Olivia Solomon, who bowled games of 181-132-166-134-212
- Aubrey Rowlson would bowl in four games, and had scores of 147-229-113-190 to finish in 225th
As a team, Cleary knocked down 6,757 pins, and finished in 42nd place.
The Cougars will return to action on Saturday, February 21, when they bowl in the WHAC Championship at Royal Scot in Lansing, Michigan. The action gets underway at 8:00 AM
