Cougar Bowlers Compete in Final WHAC Jamboree
(Jackson, MI)-- The Cleary Cougars finished regular season WHAC play this past weekend, as both teams competed in the WHAC Jamboree hosted by Siena Heights in Jackson on Saturday. The tournament consisted of 4 individual games and 4 baker games.
In the Men's Tournament:
- Alex Lewis finished in 18th place, after bowling a 4 game series of 767. Lewis also bowled a 224 in his second game
- Jacob Derda finished in 44th place, after bowling a 4 game series of 691
- Hunter Brink finished in 64th place, after bowling a 3 game series of 520
As a team, Cleary finished in 10th place with a team score of 5,179
In the Women's Tournament:
- Leigha Rue finished in 21st, after bowling a 4 game series of 690
- Samantha Dulz finished in 25th, after bowling a 4 game series of 681
- Zoe McDowell finished in 46th, after bowling a 4 game series of 553
As a team, the Cougars finished in 8th place with a team score of 5,555
Both Cleary teams will be back in action this Saturday, February 12, when they bowl in the Alma Scotty Classic. The meet will take place at the Jax 60 Lanes in Jackson, Michigan.
