Esports Weekly Recap: Week of February 23

(Howell, MI)-- Here is the recap for Cleary Esports for action during the week of February 16:

On Monday, Overwatch fell to Lawrence Tech 0-3 in NACE play. We keep plugging along- I’d say we’ll look to bounce back this week, but we already did yesterday, beating Otterbein 3-0. Something to look forward to for next week, I suppose!

On Wednesday, Valorant fell to Briar Cliff 0-2- though we gave them a fight on Map one, getting out to an early 5-1 lead before they were able to get their feet under them. NACE proves to be a great training ground for our Valorant team, and that’s what I’ve been telling the guys. Our Call of Duty team, however, managed to go 1-1 in swiss play on Wednesday- defeating Idaho State 2-0, before falling to Marshall 0-2.

On Friday, Rocket League had to unfortunately forfeit a match of theirs against Saint Xavier for GLEC play after one of our players who had to play from home had a power outage.
