Registration Open for Big Cat Golf Classic

(Howell, MI)-- The Cleary University Athletic Department will be hosting it's annual fundraiser golf outing, the Big Cat Golf Classic, on Monday, August 30, with a 9:00 am shotgun start. Registration for the outing is open to the public, and community members and supporters have the opportunity to support Cougar athletics in a variety of ways, ranging from playing in a 4-some to sponsoring the beverage cart.  Potential golfers and sponsors can sign up by going to:  https://give.communityfunded.com/o/cleary-university/i/big-cat-golf-classic-2021

Cleary University Athletic Director Heather Bateman wants to thank all the donors and participants for their generosity.  She says, "This is the biggest fundraiser we have within the athletic department at Cleary.  100% of funds raised from sponsorships and this outing go directly back to the student-athletes, helping to provide safe transportation for road events, new uniforms, equipment, and more.  We are extremely grateful to have the support that we have, especially within Livingston County, and it is that generosity that will help us to continue to grow into a nationally recognized NAIA program."

The Big Cat Golf Classic will be held at Tanglewood Golf Club in South Lyon, Michigan.  Tanglewood features 27 holes of golf, and was featured as Metro Detroit's "Best Golf Course" in 2009 and 2010.
