Madeline Swett Cougar Spotlight
(Howell, MI)-- Cleary University women's golfer Madeline Swett is being recognized in this week's Cougar Spotlight.
Swett, a sophomore from Davison, Michigan, earned her second consecutive top-3 finish, as she finished in 2nd place at the Concordia Cardinal Classic last Monday and Tuesday. The 54-hole event at Washtenaw Golf Club saw Swett shot rounds of 84-93-78 to shoot a 255 total, which tied her for first place. Madeline and the other golfers that also shot 255 would play a playoff to determine the winner, with Madeline coming in 2nd. This 2nd place finish comes on the heels of her shooting a 78 at the Lourdes Invitational to finish in 3rd place on September 7.
You can catch Madeline and the women's golf team this Wednesday, September 21, when they play in the Aquinas Fall Invitational at Kauffman Golf Club in Wyoming, Michigan.
